Look who got a new used Tanker that actually works!!!!!!!
Hey, everyone! I’m so excited to share some fantastic news—our brand-new, used 1997 Pierce
Quantum custom pumper/tanker has arrived! This impressive truck can hold 2,500 gallons of
water and is equipped with a powerful 1,750 GPM pump and a spacious 8-person cab. I even
got to climb into the cab, and let me tell you, it was such a thrilling experience!
Our amazing team is busy setting everything up, including putting on all the labels, and I can
hardly wait to see it all come together!
A big shoutout to Chief David Terry for doing a stellar job picking it up and bringing her home
right after that big snowstorm at the end of February. Now, we’re turning our attention to our old
tanker, which has definitely had its fair share of adventures!
Now, here’s where you all come in—what should we name our new fire truck? Kids, I would love
to hear your fun and creative ideas! You can send your suggestions to J. O’Rourke, P.O. Box
50, Sandy Point, ME 04972, or just email me at osandypoint160@gmail.com. I can’t wait to
share your awesome ideas with the Chief! Looking forward to hearing from you

Attention, people of Prospect!
As we look ahead to the summer, we want to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America this
year. We would love to hear your ideas on how to commemorate this special occasion.
We are considering a parade that features classic cars, along with some hometown favorites
like tractors. We could also include lawn tractors and kids’ bikes, all beautifully decorated for the
festivities! Additionally, it would be fantastic to have a band perform during the event.
If you have any suggestions or ideas, please let me know. You can email me at
osandypoint160@gmail.com. Thank you!
